Your browser needs permission, not a performance
A current browser asks before using the camera and microphone. Check the preview, choose a neutral background and confirm that no private information is visible behind you.
You do not need an elaborate opening. A clear hello and one light question are enough to find out whether both people want to continue.

A match is an introduction, not an obligation
The first person may not share your language, mood or interests. Stay respectful, give them time to respond and avoid questions that demand private contact or personal details.
When the conversation feels natural, keep talking. When it does not, use skip or end rather than arguing about the exit. For harassment or coercion, leave and use block or report.
